Child X

It should be a great time for 14-year-old Jules, who has just landed the leading role in a play. However, her adored father has discovered that Jules is not his child and is suing his wife for divorce and damages.

The misery of finding that he has apparently lost all his love for Jules is compounded by the media attention to which she and her mother are subjected, and the way in which, for legal reasons, she becomes 'Child X'.

In clean and convincing prose, Jules strongly communicates her love of acting and her complex feelings about her family and her friends.
