Chicks Rule!

One day, a little chick sets off for rocket club with her newly invented rocket under her arm, but when she gets there, there’s a sign on the door that says “No Chicks Allowed!!!”. Unacceptable!

Refusing to be put off, the little chick gathers her fabulously talented girlfriends who plan and work with her to reach the stars together. After all, chicks can achieve anything!

This charming picture book features a mix of bright and bold cartoony illustration with expressive chicks that love everything from sport to craft to surfing and teaching, and the bouncy rhyming text makes it a good read-aloud book.

The moral of the story is that children – and, in particular, girls – should be encouraged to aspire to a wide variety of occupations and interests, and that when we work together, we can make incredible things happen.
