Review

A sequel to Ape, this beautifully illustrated book takes us through some of the extinct and endangered animals in the world. Full of facts about the animals and why they are endangered (often manmade) due to competition for space with humans.

With links to further information about conservation and endangered animals and plants this book also includes success stories of when humans have successfully intervened to bring back animals on the verge of extinction such as American Bison.

Vicky White's engaging and beautifully drawn illustrations mix line drawing, charcoal, paint and pastel to mesmerising effect.
