Baby's very first black and white book: Babies
Publisher: Usborne
Babies find it easier to focus on high-contrast, and black-and-white images. They also love looking at pictures of other babies... and this lovely board book does both things brilliantly.
Each page contains a simple black-and-white image with a single splash of colour, and each gorgeous illustration shows a baby expressing familiar moods, feelings and actions.
There's a happy baby, busy baby, hungry baby, peek-a-boo baby, and lots more.
A book that's great for sharing and sturdy enough to prop up for babies to look at on their own. A padded cover makes it nice for little hands to hold, too.

My 14 week old daughter really enjoyed looking at the pictures in this book. I would highly recommend.

I shared this book with my daughter from when she was a couple of months old. Her face would light up when I showed it to her. She is now 2 and a half and still gets this book out to look at and now tells me what each page says. It's beautiful, simple illustrations make it perfect for little ones.

Great little book with high-contrast images for newborns. I got it in a box set of four books, the other three are similar with other themes (animals, faces and going out). They are tiny but will be good for little hands when baby starts picking things up.
