Your impact in 2021-22
Find out how your donations have made a difference to children and families across the country.
All thanks to our supporters, we were able to reach more than two million children through our programmes in 2021/2022. This includes lighting up Christmas for 16,000 vulnerable children with festive book packs.
Here are some of the 2021/2022 highlights made possible by book lovers like you...
My Story Pack
Maintaining a love of reading as children start school.
As children grow up, shared reading often starts to decline - and this can be very difficult to reverse. My Story Pack is working to prevent this.
Delivering joy to a vulnerable child’s doorstep.
Through our Letterbox Club programme, almost 11,500 children in care or in other vulnerable groups received book parcels at home throughout the year.
Helping families have fun at the library.
BookTrust Storytime aims to inspire lower income families with young children to engage with their local libraries and make visits a part of their everyday life.

Promoting and improving the representation of authors and illustrators of colour.
As part of our BookTrust Represents work, we offer schools in low-income areas a visit from a celebrated author or illustrator of colour.
Making a difference from the very start.
Reaching some of the most vulnerable children through both large-scale schemes and through targeted programmes, including our dual language books for refugee families.
