About Patricia Sumner
Patricia Sumner grew up on the Isle of Anglesey and now lives in the Vale of Clwyd. She used to be a primary school teacher, but now she runs her own writing, editing and proofreading business, Writing & Editing – Cilan.
Pat has always loved creative writing. She has had three collections of poetry published, educational books and many children’s stories – including a fantasy novel called ‘The Globbatrotter’ (Ginger Fyre Press). Her funny, rhyming picture book ‘Who is Fairy Nuff?’ is due to be launched in the spring.
Over the years, Pat has won awards for some of her poems and plays. She also teaches creative writing to adults.
About Susan Davies
Susan Davies has created delicious recipes to accompany the ‘Picnic’ rhyme.
Susan Davies grew up in North Wales and now lives in London. After studying Hospitality and Catering Management at university, Susan travelled widely, working in the industry. On her return to the UK, she worked in education, as a director of the Hospitality Training Foundation. She grew up with a love of food and cooking and now shares her passion through her food blog, Daffodil Kitchen. Her recipes are inspired by her travels; they are authentic but also achievable, even by the most inexperienced cook. She likes to cook from scratch, using seasonal ingredients, which are commonly available, wherever you live.
About Eleri Parry
Eleri Parry is a filmmaker and art director from Caernarfon, North Wales. Her work is rooted in a passion for visual storytelling inspired by dreamlike imagery and evocative aesthetics across a range of media. She graduated from the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham, Surrey with a BA (Hons) in Film Production, specialising in production design. She continues to expand her practice through collaboration and solo projects, ensuring each creative endeavour is grounded in strong visual storytelling.
About Menai Rowlands
Menai Rowlands is a designer, illustrator and maker from Llanfaglan, North Wales. Inspired by the local landscape, memories, technology and forms of nature, she realises ideas through multidisciplinary media. Collaborating and involving public engagement is something that is involved often in her practice. She is a graduate of BA (Hons) Product Design from Swansea School of Art, University of Wales Trinity Saint David.
