Where's Spot?
Publisher: Puffin
Where's Spot? Lift the flaps to find him as he hides around the house in this favourite story.
One of the best ever lift-the-flap books, this adorable story is the first in the series about the endearing Spot the dog. It introduces readers to Spot's world, where they will find many familiar objects, situations and environments, all playfully depicted in Hill's lively and appealing style. Children will love hunting for Spot using the lift-the-flap format, even when they know exactly where he is! This is an undoubted winner with pre-school children.

This book really keeps my 10 month old enthralled. He loves to open and close the flaps with one outstretched finger and smiles as I say "no" each time in the appropriate animal voice. The only trouble is that on each page he likes to open the flap and close it and open it and close it again LOTS of times before we're allowed to turn the page!

I vividly remember reading the 'Spot' series of books when I was a child so had to introduce them to my daughter! She loved examining Spot in the drawings on every page & once shown was excited to see what was under the flaps. I think a board book would be more suitable for her age as she found it difficult to lift the flaps, & so have ordered 'Spot's First Christmas' board book for her first Christmas.
