Fifteen-year-old Elektra's dream is to act, but she has to juggle exams, friends, relationships and school generally as well. She signs up with an agency, and we follow her progress through auditions - and see the totally unglamorous world of this aspect of acting.

This is the first novel from a mother and daughter author partnership. As such, it aims to offer authentic adult/parent and child/teenage views on the events.
