Tummy Time Farm
Publisher: Nosy Crow
Let’s say hello to the farm animals! Clucking hens, cheeping chicks, neighing horses, mooing cows, oinking pigs and baaing sheep. What fun!
This delightful book is engineered to contain a sturdy card concertina pull-out that can stand up in front of baby as they lie on their tummy, giving baby something to look at while they gently strengthen muscle and improve head control.
On one side of the boards, we say hello to the different animals, who are depicted in their farm environments. On the other, we see each animal close up, with its name. Finally, there’s a mirror so that baby can see themselves, too! Babies love to look at themselves, and it’s a vital part of helping with their self-awareness, social skills and even helping with language skills, as adults talk to them about what they can see in the mirror.
This is a bright and charming graphic board book, nicely made, that will be a great help in baby’s development, as well as being a great tool for shared fun, making animal sounds and helping with tummy time.
