A little stone age girl and her dog live alone in a cave on a mountainside. One snowy winter night they discover that a bear has visited their home. It returns and they drive it away, only to discover that a bear cub has taken refuge in their cave.
The big bear was searching for its cub. The girl, dog and cub run out into the snow to look for the bear, but she has gone. When they return the mother bear is waiting for them at the cave. They all cuddle up together and go to sleep.
