It’s a dull, rainy day and siblings Jamie and Abby are very bored. They plead with Dad to tell them a story. Not just any story – a Space Pirate Bears story! And so, an intergalactic space adventure begins…

The galaxy in this story is protected by Princess Leona’s Star Defenders, a heroic group who have saved the galaxy from all kinds of danger. But when an evil – and extremely dull – villain named Doktor Drab threatens to make the whole universe as dull as him, the Star Defenders don’t know what to do. For this, they’ll need the help of the Space Pirate Bears!

The problem is Abby wants the Space Pirate Bears in the story to be unicorn doctors, but Jamie wants them to be secret agents. Can Jamie and Abby come to an agreement so that Dad can finish his story and the Space Pirate Bears can save the day?

This is a funny and inventive picture book which celebrates the power of the imagination and storytelling.
