Room on the Broom

We're a family of witch fans and this book is so much fun to read and very exciting for my little boy. Great opportunity to do silly voices for all the different characters and the rhymes are fab. Love this book!

My daughter loves this book, it's short enough to keep her attention but long enough to keep her entertained (18m).

I like the story because it has lots of animals and the witch is nice and they are friends. The dragon is a bit scary.

We love this book, my little girl knows the rhyme off by heart and it has really helped bring her speech along too!

My little one loves cats so really enjoyed all the animals climbing on board.

Fantastic book, my little girl (4yr) loves the story. I think the rhyming helps her to remember the story as she can now tell it to me.

This was recommended to us by Tegans great auntie Anne who reads this to her grandchildren - they love it. And now we love it too.

I bought this for my 2-and-a-half year son, and this soon became one of his favourites. The rhyming, repetition and illustrations keep his attention throughout the story. My son found a broom in the garden shortly after and was acting out the story using it! Great book for capturing the imagination.

My one-year-old really enjoys this story, and finding the animals in the pictures.

We love doing different voices for all the characters - the dragon sounds a bit like Ray Winstone.

My little boy is 3 and absolutely loves this book one of his favourites. The way it rhymes makes him giggle and he joins in too.

A little scary but so much fun

My son loves the rhyming story and looking for the details in the pictures. This is another fantastic and instantly classic story from the Gruffalo team, with characters that spring straight to life from the pages and just the right amount of mild peril.

This is another one of my personal favourites that I am hoping will also become one of Islas. Throughout the story Isla was alert and smiling, and seemed to thoroughly enjoy the rhyming words as she was kicking and waving her arms.

My daughter loves the 'noisy' version of this book.

a really good book but does get a little tongue tied when trying to keep up with the pace of the story.

My 8 week old son loves this book it's his favourite story I think he seems to smile a lot when we are out and about I talk to him about the witch from the book and we talk about the whooosh of her broom stick and he smiles. Sometimes I read him a different book and he cries if I change the book to this one he lays and listens to me read it. I can't wait to see if when he is bigger if it really is his favourite it seems to be. It's a lively book

We are loving this book in the setting at the moment, we add our dressing up and puppets and props to make the story come alive we really love the dragon!

we have been really enjoying julia donaldson's books. this one is a story about being nice and helping out in a time of need.

Remember reading this when I was little, now enjoying it again reading it to my daughter. She loves anything that has a rhyme to it.

This is my most favourite book and I know all the words.

Although Juneaux is only 12 weeks she really seemed to enjoy the rhythm of the rhymes in the book. Also it seemed to be just the right length as she was able to enjoy the whole story before losing interest. Good reading practice for Mummy too as some of the rhymes were real tongue twisters!

We loved this book so much that we ended up buying it. It has a lovely rhyme throughout the book and it makes me smile every time I read it to my son. Lovely illustrations really capture his attention too. The story really flows nicely and my son just loves it.

My daughters favorite book. We got it out of the library every time we came across it,until buying it recently for her as a treat & in the summer she said as we were walking through mud, we need a belt to cross this bog!! I was very impressed. Started reading this book when she was 2 & a year later we still really enjoy it. Great little song lyrics to sing together, great pictures & a good selection of animals as the characters.

Fantastic book defo mummys favourite! We love the rhyming in and my little girl (10 months) loves it if you put on different accents for the different characters and do the sound effects too. The story really flows making it easy to remember so you can really get into it and act it out.

Great Book! My Girls love all the animals that get on the broom with the witch and they look when they help her find the things that have fallen! Great Fun Story!
