One Ted Falls Out of Bed

This is a regular bedtime story in our household and little one has learnt most of the lines off by heart, it is a good book that encourages counting and we all enjoy it.

We got this when my little one was born, and read it to her regularly - initially she just likes the rhythms of the speech I expect. Now aged almost 2 it is a big favourite, and she is enjoying exploring all the extra things in the illustrations.

Lovely rhyming story that also teaches counting

Lovely story and illustrations. My son always pays close attention when I read this story at bedtime. It's great for learning to count too.

We read this book once at a baby group and I went and bought it straight away. Such a lovely easy read that I never get tired of reading again and again.

My Daughter loves it!! The illustrations are beautiful and with a personal style.. My little one always try to read it to her toys! Excellent book for toddlers.

This is one of the first books which my son was gifted and loves the story so much that he roars with the fast cars, finds the bright stars, count the blocks, almost figures out the instruments and will love to read it anytime.

Brilliant for just before bed. Simple story with big pictures, not too exciting for bed.

simple story. lovely drawings. makes you count to 10 while a teddy bear is having an adventure around the child's bedroom.

Its a lovely book with rhyming & making different sounds of animals. My daughter loves this book & she even tries to read herself.

We've got this book as a gift and Dan loves it when daddy reads to him in different animal voices. He giggles when it comes to the end.

My daughter loves 'One Ted Falls Out of Bed' by Julia Donaldson. It's lovely to read with the rhyming words, and the illustrations by Anna Currey are beautifully done. A favourite for bedtime or anytime for my daughter!

My son can't get enough of this book, he is always bringing it to me to read. It is good for learning their numbers too.

Lost count of the number of times we have read this. My toddler chooses it most nights at bedtime. Lovely pictures and great for learning about numbers too.

My 6 month old loves this book which was a Christmas present from friends of the family. As soon as I start reading it to him he'll quieten down and wont make a sound until I'm done.
I love that it rhythms as this makes it soothing and enjoyable for bedtime reading. My son is always fascinated when I use different voices for the different characters in the book. We always read it twice each night. This is a gift that keeps on giving.

My son loves to read this book at bedtime and he always makes sure he tucks his teddy in tight before he goes to sleep.

Fantastic book. My little boy fell in love with it and was the only book he would stay still for and would settle him when ill/upset if we read it to him!

We've recently borrowed this book from the library, and like the other books we've read by Julia Donaldson, it was a hit with my 13 month old daughter.

bought this for my little one just few weeks ago. Though he doesn't understand it he loves looking at the bright pictures.

My husband, daughter and I all love this book. Nice rhymes and a nice calm bedtime story. My daughter was 2 and a half when we first read it but it would be suitable for a much younger child too.

the perfect bedtime story, especially for those children who also have a bedtime ted

This book is one of my son's favourite bedtime stories. A pleasant, easy, gentle read, just perfect to wind down with after a busy day. This doesn't however mean that it doesn't offer an educational purpose as the story cleverly has you and your child counting through to ten and back untill 'one Ted is back in bed'.

My son is almost 5 and still loves this beautiful little book at bedtime, very special book for both of us

Received this one in his second Bookstart pack–- loves it, and a firm favourite at bedtime. Now that he is a little older enjoys counting the items - loves the trolls and the cars. Story flows well and keeps the child interested.

Wonderful illustrations, the story really flows well. Lovely to read aloud and great for settling down with at bedtime.
