Review

On Sleepy Hill, it's time for bed. Peep through the pages and all the animals of the woods are peeking out to say good night: good night to the baby rabbit going back to her burrow, good night the little wolf cub peering from the hollow, and to the bears and otters, ducklings, deer and fox, all returning to their homes for the night, under the twinkling stars.

This gorgeous bedtime story features die-cut pages that layer together to create a lovely animal scene. As you separate each page, you then see the animals and their families going to their beds.

A glorious palette of night-time colours and wonderfully cute illustrations make this book a real feast for the eyes. The gentle rhyme as each animal goes to bed is so calming and sweet that it's sure to soothe little ones at bedtime. The design of the peep-through pages also make this a really special gift idea, perfect for christenings or birthdays.

A lovely poem, and a beautiful book to enjoy again and again.
