My Grandma’s Magic Recipes - Stories and recipes for every season: Winter Warmth

Zee is excited to go to Grandma’s Christmas party, and when she gets to Grandma’s delicious-smelling house with Mummy, Daddy and her sister Ree, she goes looking for her. But the party is busy, and Zee can’t find Grandma anywhere!

Finally, Zee finds Grandma in the kitchen baking gingerbread cookies, which she gives to Zee to hand out to everyone at the party. And when Zee finds it hard to sleep, Grandma tells her stories of ginger and spice that help everything feel nice.

This warm and comforting book has beautiful, colour-rich illustrations from Camilla Sucre featuring a Black family, and two recipes at the end: one for delicious gingerbread men, and one for spiced hot chocolate!
