Matilda is an amazing book for all ages. I first read it at the age of 7, five years later, it's still one of my favourite books. I love everything about it. Read this book!

Matilda is great but you could probably read it when you were six. Movie is bad. Books are better then movies!

I loved the book! Its so fun to read. Its funny and make believe. I've seen the movie and the book is just as good! My parents kept telling me "read Roald Dahl you'll love it"! And I was like "umm later" Because I've never read a Roal Dahl book before and I did...And I loved it! Me + Roald Dahl Matilda = happy me! This book really hooked me on I love it so much! :)

matilda is more clever than her parents and plays lots of tricks on them and her head teacher. my favourite part is when matlida and her teacher got together and matilda told her parents if she could get adopted by her teacher. very good read, i love the book and the film.

I think the mom and dad are nasty to Matilda

It was great to read and I understood it all the way through. Really exciting and creative. My favourite part was when Matilda with her teacher went into the headteacher's house and she got really wound up. It was ssssssoooooo funny . Plus crazy right to end from the start. 😃

Matilda is a smart young girl who parents are really really mean to her. But She stands out from the crowd and she follows her way to a happy new life. I recommend this book for 6+.

I liked the book very much and I thuoght it was magical! Roald Dahl makes the characters easy to imagine. In some places, the story is very emotional. If Roald Dahl was still alive, I would like him to write a sequel. I recommend this book to ages 7 (but you may need adult help) to 100!

I liked Matilda it was very funny! I think other people would like it and inspire more people to read it!

Matilda's Mom and Dad pay all the attention on anything but Matilda. They are mean and spiteful, always going on about how Matilda reads too much. When Miss Honey finds Matilda, and how much she reads they click. I cried and cried so much at the end, but this book is so brilliant, it truly is one of the best books on Earth.

Awesome book. I would definitely recommend it to others aged about 6-adult. It's an amusing story about a young girl's love of books and the relationship with her encouraging teacher, and less encouraging parents!

it was one amazing book and Matilda is like Mozart since Mozart could compose music when he was five years old and Matilda taught herself to read when she was three.

I really like this book, it makes you want to carry on reading. It is really interesting to see what Matilda gets up to on her average day. The tricks that she gets up to are really funny, like when her dads hat gets stuck to his head. I love it when they are at the resturant and her mum tries to get it off (it turns into a real disaster)! Eventually, when she gets to go to school, you feel really excited about what you are going to find out next.

I found this book really funny when Mrs Truncbull locked Matilda in the cupboard and threw her friend by her plaits out of the window!

Matilda is a great book for 9-11 year olds. You don't have any idea what might happen at the end. This book was exciting and kept me entertained from cover to cover.
