I really like the book jinx because sage blackwood uses interesting language and is very creative. A young man named jinx has been abandoned by his step father. A wizard finds him but something is suspicious does the wizard look after jinx? read this book to find out. I think jinx is a very good descriptive book and it makes me want to read on. My over all view of jinx is that it is very descriptive. I would recommend jinx to year 6 to year7 as it is very good to read at secondary school

Jinx is an amazing all-round book from start to finish. It is one of my favourite books and it will not let you down. It's one of my favourite books of all time. Its about a boy who is being thrown into a dangerous forest who is saved by a wizard from trolls and becomes a powerful wizard. I recommend this book to absolutely anyone.

I thought it was really interesting and eye caching but in the middle of the book it was sort of boring but I just kept reading it because I knew it was going to get better and after about 2 pages it start to get really good again but it got better than I thought it would have got and I really enjoyed it. I recommend older kids should read it because I was hard to get into the book but if little kids like adventure books it would be perfect.

I found Jinx really good because there was a lot of mystery and secrets and wondering who was actually the bad guy. I felt that all the characters had good depth and they all had their own different secrets, which was good, plus I never really knew what was going to happen next. I almost couldn't put the book down because the author did so well in creating an enticing atmosphere.

Jinx was not my favourite book. I really wish I had made a better choice in my selection of book. My type of genre would be comedy. In my opinion Jinx is over rated and because of this it would put me off reading any other books by Sage Backwoods and my rating shows this. :(

I chose my buzz book because I read a book that looked similar and had a similar story line. But after a while I got bored of the book and lost interest. The reason I chose this book was that I wanted to see if it was better. Can't wait to find out!

This book was really good and told a great, adventurous story. Though it is a book that you would read a chapter and the put it down, only to go back to it an hour later. In comparison to 'Flirty Dancing' thus book would be described as a huge tree with millions of branches for you to follow, whereas 'Flirty Dancing is more like a straight up and down tree with only one way and one destination.
