How to Catch a Star
Publisher: Harper Collins
Once there was a boy and the boy loved stars very much. So much, in fact, that he decides he must have one of his own and sets out to catch one... Shortlisted for the 2004 Booktrust Early Years Award, this is a delightful picture book about the power of the imagination and the need for friendship, charmingly illustrated with Oliver Jeffers's quirky watercolour images.

Beautiful story about the pursuit of dreams. Lovely illustration. Can wait for my baby to be able to understand it. Once There Was…The Wonderful World of Oliver Jeffers (interactive exhibition) is on in Stratford at the discovery Children's story centre and is great fun.

We first heard about this book at Discover Stratford when they had the Oliver Jeffers exhibition going on. It was one of our first visits to Discover and we loved it. We also loved this story so much we eventually bought a copy of the book and it became a staple bedtime story.
