Hitler's Angel

Publisher: Chicken House

In the summer of 1941, two displaced teenagers, one German, one Austrian, are recruited by the British government for a secret mission.

Dropped behind enemy lines into Nazi Germany, they must kidnap a very special young girl and bring her back to England. Despite careful preparation and planning, their mission turns out to be more hazardous and traumatic than they could ever have imagined.

Although naively plotted and cliched in places, this is a thrilling adventure story that bristles with excitement and danger, but be warned that it does include some graphic scenesof violence and death. However, fans of Indiana Jones and James Bond will love the cinematic feel of the book which also gives a fascinating glimpse of life under Hitler’s Third Reich and addresses some difficult moral questions.
