Max never had a brain until freak let him borrow his . This touching story is set when kicker and the robot boy meet at day care kicker is oversized and robot boy is small because he is disabled however these two boys do not see each other for eight years. by this time max is living in the down under with grim and gram.Freak is living with his mother "the fair gwen".i recommend this book to everyone over 10 because it is very emotional towards the end.

Max Kane has a bad dad and a bad life, until Kevin came along.Together they become Freak the mighty in this touching story. I absaloutly love this great book!
