Dinosaur Police

Publisher: Scholastic

Sarah McIntyre is ticking all the boxes in this bright bonanza of dinosaurs and diggers, pizza and police, belly-laughs and burps. When Trevor the T-Rex breaks into the pizza factory, he gorges himself silly and then tries to outrun the police. Stumbling through a building site the cement catches the criminal dino, and everyone has to work together to re-do the pizzas in time for the mayor's fair. Trevor learns his lesson when his bloated tum means he can't enjoy anymore pizza, but a full belly makes for a brilliant bouncy castle.

Unashamedly silly and wonderfully mad, this will delight little dinosaur fans. McIntyre's trademark cartoon-style illustrations are always a joy to behold. Beautiful colours and crazy characters create exciting spreads - all the angles incite action, it's a raucous race to read. This would be great fun to read for a group, it demands voices, noises, pantomime reactions and an absolute commitment to its absurdity. Enjoy!
