It is so mysterious and has lots of cliffhanger. I love this book it is amazing. Lauren St John is such an incredible author. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes mysteries.

I think this book is an amazing adventures book and is a book with reflections of real life stories. Laura Marlin is a brilliant detective story written by one of the best children's writers out there, Lauren St John, who has recently won the Blue Peter award. Inspired by a fictional detective, Matt Walker, Laura is an eleven year old girl aching for some action of her own, except that she is in orphanage so her options are limited. Once she is rescued by a shadowy uncle called Calvin Redf...

I think Dead Man's Cove is an excellent book as it is very surprising with it's twists and turns. As well as that, the book uses good tension,suspense and it builds up the characters and story well overall I tremendously enjoyed reading this book. :)

I studied this book in year 7 and it was amazing. I visited all the places that were in the book and I really found it quite interesting. Great Book.
