Crow Country

Sadie isn’t happy when her impulsive mother drags her away from city life to make a fresh start in a remote country town. But gradually, she begins to make friends and connections with the locals – until she discovers some confusing and sinister events from the town’s past. Instead of building a new future, she soon finds herself being pulled back in time, where she bears witness to a horrific crime.On returning to the present, she and her new friends must make difficult choices if they are to avoid repeating the mistakes of previous generations.

Set against a background of Aboriginal mythology, Sadie’s engaging story also tackles contemporary issues and themes such as loyalty, betrayal, racism and clashes of culture.
