Colleen is in her final year at school. With university applications and interviews to worry about and high grades to achieve, she and her friends are feeling the pressure. Then one by one girls start to fall victim to seizures, coughing fits, hair loss and uncontrollable tics. Doctors are mystified, parents are angry and the media are everywhere. No one seems able to explain it. Then Colleen discovers a similar outbreak among teenage girls occurred three hundred years ago. Given that the town was once called Salem, could there be a more sinister explanation…?

This is a scary and compelling read. Brilliantly written and full of suspense, it also has romance, friendship and some intriguing history. A definite page turner!
