Review

'Duck dibble-dabbles at a quacking pace. Bubbles fly all over the place!' Ben and Bella have an increasingly crowded bath-time, as animals arrive one by one and ask to get in the bath too. When a hippopotamus turns up, the bath slooshes through the door, out of the house and up in the air…

Julia Jarman's bouncy rhyming text is so enticing that it absolutely demands to be read out loud. Adrian Reynolds illustrations have an equal amount of energy, with Ben and Bella and all the animals looking like they're having the best time in the world. Bath-time has never been so much fun.
