About this book
PJ and the Moon Hare are playing in Sandra the Dragon’s room when PJ’s mum, Queen Elsie, sets them a task.
They must find the lost phoenix of the castle before the Awful Relations do, or Queen Elsie won’t be the ruler of Outlandish any longer. And, even worse, the Awful Relations will rule instead. And they are awful. PJ’s cousin Marson, and his butler Stoop, have all sorts of Demands and do strange experiments.
Will PJ and the irrepressibly bouncy Moon Hare ever find the phoenix – and can they stop Marson from snooping around?
This story bounces along, like the Moon Hare, with cracking dialogue and a cast of quirky, loveable characters. It’s the fourth in a series, but the story stands alone, and if the reader is charmed by the Moon Hare’s daft ways, there are three more to enjoy.
There is a lot of humour, and every chapter has brilliant black-and-white illustrations. Great fun!
