About this book
Set in Bugtown, this laugh-out-loud minibeast tale follows the antics of brothers Dribble and Dash. Dribble is a snail who loves to invent things; most of his inventions centre around cabbage, his all-time favourite food. His adopted brother Dash is a firefly, whose bottom lights up when he’s happy. The pair love adventure, especially if there’s a mystery to solve.
Dribble is ready to test-drive his latest invention, the formidable Roboslug, a giant mechanical slug capable of chomping through cabbage forests to produce gallons of delicious cabbage juice. When the brothers stop to investigate a leak, Roboslug is stolen by a pair of dastardly dung-beetles.
The brothers report the theft to Sergeant Buzabiz, but the police are flat out trying to catch a gang of master criminals who have escaped from Bugtown Jail. Dribble is convinced that the same criminals are behind Roboslug's disappearance, so he and Dash investigate, with hilarious results.
Generously illustrated with entertaining black-and-white artwork, this daft crime caper features a bonkers plot and a cast of larger-than-life buggy characters.
