About this book
A is for Ape, B is for Bear, C is for Crocodile... but did you know that Yaks use their long horns to shovel throw snow to find food, or that a Gecko can’t blink and cleans its eyes by licking them?
This delightful, colourful board book is perfect as a starting point for animal-loving toddlers learning their alphabet. It’s nice that there are some facts alongside the ABCs which gives the book more longevity than it might have otherwise, and appeal to older siblings listening along. Nikolas Ilic’s illustrations are full of bounce and colour, meaning that it’s a joy to look at this book over and over again and there’s a nice range of animals here, from the familiar to the more unusual.
