Children's Book Week 2017

This 13-17 November, let's inspire children everywhere to love reading for fun

Every year, we join up with schools, libraries, children, parents and carers to celebrate books and reading for pleasure. Here, you can find reading tips, book suggestions and lots of other fun ideas for the classroom.

Don't forget the brand-new Great Books Guide, either, which showcases our favourite reads of 2017.

Join in this week with the fun! Tell us what you're up to, at home or at school, on social media with #ChildrensBookWeek.

Great Books Guide 2017

Our favourite children's books from the past year, from 0 all the way up to 11 years. The right book is always what a child actually wants to read – and we hope this guide inspires you to find that book.
