About Bookspark
What’s included in the pack?
- Five group reading sets – including six copies of each book (30 copies in total), printed reading guides with discussion points and activity ideas, and online author videos to introduce the books.
- Five books for paired reading and five books for reading aloud – each specifically picked as engaging reads to build reading enjoyment.
- A programme guide and support video with ideas and guidance for running the sessions plus posters to create eye-catching displays.
- Access to our Bookspark live virtual author event where your students can hear live from one of this year’s authors.
How much does Bookspark cost?
The Bookspark pack costs £220 inc VAT. This offers a saving of over 35% on the cover price of the books plus you’ll receive all the supporting resources.
Once you sign up via our portal, an invoice will be generated and emailed to you and the person stated as the invoice contact. Full payment instructions are included on the invoice. See the information below for more details.
How were the Bookspark books selected?
The titles have been carefully selected by an expert panel of librarians and practising teachers to represent the best of modern fiction and non-fiction.
The panel spend many hours reading longlisted books and gathering together to discuss and deliberate on which ones should be included.

Ordering and payment
Ordering for the Bookspark 2026 pack is open now.
Please submit your contact details, the number of packs you require and invoicing information via our easy-to-use portal to complete your purchase. An email will then be sent to you with your invoice and full payment details.
Packs will be supplied from January 2026 onwards – there are a limited number available, so don’t miss out!
Yes, simply select the number of packs you’d like to purchase in the dropdown menu as you progress through the registration form.
If you pre-order, your pack will be delivered in January 2026.
If you are ordering after this time, then your pack will be delivered within 5 working days of placing your order and the invoice being paid.
You must pay your invoice before your pack will be sent out.
An invoice will automatically be generated and emailed to you and the person stated as the invoice contact during the sign up process. We recommend that you download the invoice and print it off immediately.
The invoice can be paid by BACS, cheque or credit card. Full payment instructions are included on the invoice.
In the invoice email we will include a link to pay by debit card, credit card or PayPal via our portal.
Alternatively, you can pay by credit card over the phone by calling us on 020 7801 8800. You will then be sent an order acknowledgment confirming payment has been received.
No. When you purchase the Bookspark pack you will already be saving over 35% on the cover price of the books, so no further discounts will be available.
Your pack
The Bookspark online resources will be available on our website in the Bookspark resources area from January 2026. This will include downloadable PDF versions of the programme guide, posters and group reading guides – as well as access to the support video and introductory author videos.
You will be sent full details of how to access the password-protected resources area as part of the programme information.
