Bookstart in Wales Health Visitor training

An interactive workshop introducing Bookstart, explaining the benefits of early shared reading and giving practical advice about how to gift Baby and Early Years packs to families in Wales.

This two-hour workshop introduces student health visitors to the Bookstart Baby and Early Years programmes and provides practical guidance that they can incorporate into their practice.

There are also comprehensive guidance notes available for course leaders delivering the workshop.

The workshop covers the following topics:
