Published on: 13 March 2016 Author: Phil Earle

In this week's blog, Phil Earle talks about the importance of the Letterbox Club.

The Letterbox Club programme offers resources and support for looked-after children in care aged 5-13 years-old. The Demolition Dad author states that Lemn Sissay refers to looked-after children as 'superheroes'.

The BookTrust Writer in Residence finishes by telling a personal story about Sam. Sam was a looked after child who had a very hard early life; he later went on to travel the world.
