Top tips for introducing Bookbuzz Secondary to your students
Here are some ways you might introduce Bookbuzz Secondary to your students in their library session or English class.
- Download and print copies of the What’s my favourite genre? quiz from the Bookbuzz Secondary Coordinator Area to help your students narrow down their choice from the full collection.
- Watch the Bookbuzz Secondary Film 2025 and hear the authors pitch their book to your students. This film is a great tool to support students in making their choice for their favourite title.
- Share the longer synopsis of each book with students to give them more
information on the collection. - Download the Bookbuzz Secondary Books PowerPoint from the Bookbuzz Secondary Coordinator Area. Have this on the screen and encourage students to discuss which book appeals to them. We’ve created a short discussion guide to help with this.
- After the students are familiar with the books and have made their selection, they can mark which book they’d like on their My Choice Bookmark. You can then keep hold of the bookmarks until you’re ready to order
Once you have collected the My Choice Bookmarks back from the students, download and print a copy of the Class Order Form from the Bookbuzz Secondary Coordinator Area, then mark off each student’s selection before placing your order.
Keep the form and My Choice Bookmarks safe and label each student’s book when it arrives.
