This Rock is Mine

Publisher: Alison Green Books

Two frogs argue over a small rock where they’ve both set up camp, each insisting ‘this rock is mine!’ Concerned ants and other insects look on this silly arguing with brilliantly drawn expressions, giving the kind of looks you tend to get if arguing about stupid things! Then a common enemy arrives. This is actually a heron’s rock - and now the  two frogs must find a new rock. They do this together and find can live in perfect harmony. Hooray!

This is a great book to open conversations on the joy of sharing and compromise with little ones - and giggle about the silliness of bickering. The illustrations by Alice McKinley are so funny and detailed, there’s loads to explore in this gorgeous book!
