Gaiman’s quirky text and original storyline are brilliantly paired with the highly appealing illustrations of Dave McKean. This inventive and comical story will strike a chord with precocious young readers and listeners alike.

Nathan did not like his dad much because all his dad did was sit around and read newspaper so he decided to swap his dad for two Goldfish. What a weird and horrid book. Dark looming pictures and lots of people being horrible to each other. Threatening to tell tales on each other because they like someone / are adopted / are fat. Horrible.
