Why comics matter for young readers 02/12/24
Love Monster
Publisher: HarperCollins Children's Books
Monster lives in Cutesville and feels very out of place amongst all the cute animals. Everyone loves fluffy kittens, puppies and bunnies, but not funny looking hairy monsters, so he sets off to find someone who will love him just the way he is ...
This funny and charming picture book illustrated with Rachel Bright’s engaging and expressive etchings has a feel good message. Perfect for sharing, especially on Valentine’s Day.

This book is really heart-warming and sweet. It's brilliantly illustrated and teaches little ones that it's fine to be different, it's important to be positive, try hard and that everyone can be loved. I really enjoy reading this story to my boys!
