Just Like Mummy

Publisher: Pavilion Children’s Books

Review

The little leopard in this book isn’t fussed about being a firefighter or an astronaut – when they grow up, they want to be just like Mummy. Mummy’s great, you see – she knows so much about the earth, sea and stars, she’s creative, and she’s tons of fun at parties.

Mummy definitely gets things wrong, and she knows that sometimes there are good and bad days. But the most important thing to know is that most things can be solved with a cuddle.

This clear, sweet and humorous book about a child’s relationship with its mother recognises that a mum is an important role model, and celebrates all the marvellous things that mums do.

Lucy Freegard’s illustrations are full of fun and warmth, making this a perfect book to share at any time.

Catch That Egg!

Author: Lucy Rowland and Anna Chernyshova

Floppit is a bunny with very big, bouncy feet. Unfortunately, he is just too boisterous for his friends looking after little ones. Is he too bouncy to be around? A lovely one to share with older siblings that may have a new baby in the house.
