I am Malala
Publisher: Hachette Children's Group
The story of Malala Yousafzai's life is extraordinary and massively life-affirming.
Malala was born in the Swat valley in Pakistan during turbulent times of trouble and terror. Religious fundamentalists tried to deny her and other girls an education. Targeted and shot because of her belief and bravery to stand up against this prejudice, Malala's breath-taking story is shocking, exciting and surprising.
This is the real life story of one of the most incredible and inspirational young people in the world. Reading this book might just change the way you think and feel. It encourages everyone to stand up for what is right.

This book is about a inspirational story about a young girl named Malala Yousafzai. It's written by Malala herself, with the help of Patricia Mccormick. Malala is from Pakistan and in this country they did not allow girls to be educated. Malala was not happy about this therefore she stood up females around the world who don't the right to be educated. Until one day on the back of a bus...she was shot in the head. The girl went through a ton of operations in Birmingham and they were able to...

The book is educational and very interesting. It is about a girl called Malala who fought for the rights of girls. Would you like to be shot in the head for your standing up for yourself? She was. This book is for people that like non-fiction books with amazing facts. How would you feel if at age 13-16 you were a victim of terrorism? She was and it was dealt with. :)

Personally, I think that this book is fascinating due to the fact that she fought for her rights and believed in it so much to enable it to come true. Not only that but, it's about a girl who life was tough, also she knew her life was in danger. However she still enabled her right to manage for a while. I recommend this book for you I hope you read it and enjoy it.

When Malala Yousafzai was ten, the Taliban stopped her and her peers from attending school, simply because they were girls. This book is full of drama and is definitely an inspiring novel for young women. The book makes you realise that there is injustice in the world and that you should help and not just leave it to people like Malala. It is written in a way so that the reader feels part of the book and feels sad when bad things happen, frightened when suspense is near and overcome with joy when Malala recovers. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would recommend it to every girl who wants to help the world. Fi...
