About this book
It’s got to that special time of day on Ladybird Lane: the sun is going down and it’s bedtime for Stanley the bunny.
However, there’s a problem: Stanley can’t find his fluffy red slippers. Then it’s a piece of his dinosaur puzzle that he can’t place, and then Stanley absolutely has to have a drink in his favourite mug.
Finding all of Stanley’s special things before he goes to bed is the job of the reader, who will love looking under all the little card flaps in the book to locate the missing items. And when they’re all finally accounted for, it’s time for sleep. For Stanley, and very possibly for the little one reading the book, too!
This adorable, colourful and cute board book introduces the everyday world to little ones, naming items such as toys and pieces of clothing.
It could also help to develop motor skills with the use of flaps that encourage little ones to use their hands and fingers and engage in the process of searching for something. The rhyming text also means that the listening experience for little ones is nice and calm before bed.
