About this book

As the only two talking animals in existence, Squirrel and Duck have decided to stick together, despite their many differences and constant bickering. To avoid being discovered by humans, they try to keep a low profile so have set up home in a fibreglass tree, in the middle of an abandoned theme park.

Unfortunately, they find themselves homeless, penniless and hungry when the theme park is demolished to make way for luxury apartments. However, the pair spot an opportunity when they overhear two art thieves discussing where they have hidden a priceless stolen painting. Squirrel and Duck embark on an eventful mission to find the valuable artwork and make their fortune.

On their quest, they are detained by a squad of angry grey squirrels, infiltrate an internet cafe and get trapped inside the boot of a speeding sports car. Their squabbling reaches new heights but when Duck is in danger, Squirrel pulls out all the stops to save his friend.

This is the first bonkers adventure in a hilarious new series, with plenty of laugh-out-loud moments. Lively black-and-white illustrations accompany the tale, adding to the mirth and helping to bring the marvellous characters to life.
