About this book
Ta-da! Nik-Nak Bunny pops out of the magic hat. She can be lots of different things - today she's a train driver. Join Nik-Nak Bunny as she drives the train through the town and the countryside. Turn the wheel to watch the pictures change! Choo choo!
This is a delightful board book with charming illustrations that manage to look both classic and fresh. At the edge of each sturdy page, there's a wheel to turn which changes an element of the pictures - sometimes to comic effect. The train smoke changes colour, or there's a variety of things flying in the sky (including a snail with a parachute!), for instance. This mechanism is easy for small fingers to use and the simple text occasionally asks the child to spot something specific that appears in the changing pictures, linking it all together. There is a gentle rhyme to the words, too, pulling the reader through the pages, as well as a repeated refrain for young readers to join in with.
There is more fun to be had too - other books in the series have Nik-Nak as a doctor, an astronaut and a footballer. Great interactive fun for toddlers and pre-schoolers.
