About this book

Ani Tariq has barely seen her twin sister since they were separated at 6 months old after their parents divorce.

Riri lives in California with her mum, is very neat and tidy and wears the hijab whereas Ani lives in the UK with her dad and is messy and impulsive with wild curly hair. The girls couldn’t be more different so the prospect of spending a whole summer together is daunting for them both.

But when a close family friend is found dead, someone the girls both know but by different names, they find a shared passion for solving mysteries and are determined to find out who among the community is a murderer.

Set in a fictional, multicultural town in West Yorkshire, Murder For Two is as much about family dynamics as it is about following clues.

Although Ani is disorganised in much of her life, she has a laser focus when working for TUSC – the Tariq Ultrasecret Supersleuth Centre – which she runs in her spare time. Recruiting her sister as a SIT (Sleuth-In-Training) helps the girls find common ground and repair their fractured relationship.

Despite not always being procedurally accurate, this is a lively, entertaining, sleuthing adventure.
