About this book
A spirited reimagining of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, told from the perspective of Lydia, the youngest Bennet sister. She's tired of country life and finds herself longing for adventure - and soon gets what she asks for.
Writer Farrant perfectly captures Lydia's voice and personality, and it is great fun to see her thoughts on her older sisters Jane and Lizzy, plus Mr Darcy. It is also refreshing to see Lydia as a fully developed character with her own motivations, instead of the rather silly girl she presents as in the original.
