About this book
A minnow and a tadpole are inseparable friends. While the minnow gets bigger, becoming a fully-grown fish, the tadpole undergoes an amazing transformation, grows legs and eventually turns into a frog, able to leave the pond and explore the world beyond the banks.
When the friends are reunited, the fish is fascinated by the frog's stories but can only interpret what he hears using his own experiences. Eager to see things for himself he leaps out of the water only to discover that, sometimes, the world you are in is both safer, and more beautiful, than the world elsewhere.
A classic picture book with whimsical, textured illustrations exploring some basic philosophical questions and offering reassurance that it's ok to follow your own path in life.
