About this book
This is a book that will appeal to children reading chapter books for the first time – especially nature lovers!
A foreword by Iolo Williams and an appealing map within the first few pages immediately grabs attention. The book is a series of short stories based around 'Y Gors' (The Marsh). Each story introduces the reader to new characters from nature. We follow their troubles as they learn life lessons while actively living together in the Marsh.
It is full of the rich vocabulary of nature, and in addition, there is a message in each of the stories that will resonate with the young readers.
