The 25-minute live lesson, ‘Stories by the Sea’, explores different ways of writing stories.
Inspired by ‘Old Jack’s Boat: Rockpool Tales’, the show encourages children to create their own fictional tales – with a fun, nicely nautical twist. Schools can also download a suggested lesson guide and teacher resources.
This live lesson was made in 2016, to be used by schools as part of Children’s Book Week: when schools, libraries, children and parents celebrate books and reading for pleasure in a fun-filled week.
