Want a fun way to get children excited about reading? Pyjamarama is returning for a third time and will take place in the summer term of 2021.

Pyjamarama is all about getting children around the country, in schools, nurseries and at home to spend an amazing day in their pyjamas and donate £1 to help give every child a bedtime story.

Just pop back over the coming months to find out what will be happening next year and why you should be taking part!

In 2019, the event took place in schools, nurseries and at home, whereas 2020 was a slightly different event. With national lockdown in place, the event became an online festival and you can relive all the fun of our magical celebration of stories.

Have tons of fun with My Pet Star

This year’s Pyjamarama book is the brilliant and beautiful My Pet Star by Corrinne Averiss and Rosalind Beardshaw, and we're working hard to get copies of this wonderful story to as many families as we can.

In the meantime, we've got loads of My Pet Star goodies for you to enjoy. There are storytime and drawing videos from Corrinne and Rosalind, crafts to do and cosmic cookies to make. You can also make your own Pet Star, colour in your own scene or enjoy some rhymes together.
