A fantastic classic story with wonderful illustrations by Raymond Briggs. My son loves bumping up and down on my knee every time we go "rumpeta, rumpeta, all down the street". A gentle way to foster politeness early on? "Yes please!"

My daughter enjoys this book and always joins in with the 'rumpeter rumpeter rumpeter' part. It is a family favourite.
