Dirty Bertie
Publisher: Little Tiger Books
Bertie has some very dirty habits: he eats sweets he finds on the pavement, picks his nose, licks the dog and even pees in the garden! However, he soon learns that his unhygienic practices can have unpleasant consequences, and endeavours to give them all up. Well... almost all of them!
This fun picture book perfectly captures the not-so-nice side of a typical little boy. Children will laugh out loud at the hilarious illustrations and will love joining in with the repetitive chorus.

Favourite funny books (younger children)
Some of the funniest books around are children's books, so you're in for a treat with these favourites below. Be careful, though - there's a danger of actual tears and serious stomach-hurt from doubling-over with laughter. Don't say we didn't warn you!

I've read a number of Dirty Bertie books. He has lots of disgusting habits, and he often plays pranks, but these habits are what happen in our everyday life, as disgusting as they are. We know what good manners are. However we sometimes forget ourselves and have a sly pick of our nose. These are books that are fun and enjoyable to read, and I certainly will be reading them again.
