In fact, she’s a busy bee all week, from doing her first roly-poly to giving her friend a hug when she falls over at the beach. 

Featuring a typical selection of toddler or pre-schooler activities and growing skills, Wow! Look at Me! presents a lovely and relatable book for little ones with a positive, upbeat message, supporting them in achieving new skills and cheerleading their efforts. 

It’s also lovely that a variety of skills are included, from physical achievements (doing a roly poly, riding a tricycle, potty training) to imaginative ones (playing a game about travelling to Mars) and emotional ones (comforting a friend). 

This means that Wow! Look at Me! is a well thought-through book which delivers a great concept very well indeed. 

Alberta Torres’ illustrations are sweet, colourful and inclusive, and the book features a nice clear, readable font in a good size as well as thick pages and a hard cover for durability. Lovely.
